Thrive Market has been a part of my grocery store rotation since 2016. I’ve watched the business grow and expand over the years, but keep renewing my membership because I believe in their mission and appreciate the deals I get on products I love and love trying new snacks and treats. These products are my staples and the items I’ve gone back to after years of shopping.
- Thrive Market brand Coconut Aminos – In college, I decided to cut out meat from my diet and that meant a lot more tofu. As anyone who’s new to tofu knows, it can be a challenge to find you favorite way to season it. I found that a little soy sauce with these coconut aminos, in the air fryer for 15 minutes creates the most delicious sweet and savory tofu bites. Now this is a staple on tofu, tempeh, chicken, turkey and more. The sweet and salty taste is hard to beat and when it caramelizes, delicious.
- BelliWelli Zero Bloat Bars – If I am anything, I am two things, a snacker and an IBS girly. I found these bars while going through a low FODMAP protocol a couple years ago while trying to get my digestion under control. The flavor and texture of these bars are great and with some extra fiber, they’re a snack I feel good about eating without hurting my stomach. They’re a little pricey so wait until they’re on sale or you have a coupon.
- Four Sigmatic “Calm” Hot Chocolate Mix – I’ve been buying this product for years. Long before the “sleepy girl mocktail” trend, I’ve been winding down with my “chill hot chocolate.” It’s a warm and calming blend of spices like cinnamon and cardamom and reishi mushrooms. There is a lot of research that still needs to be done to back up claims that reishi can calm your nervous system, but placebo effect or not, this is part of my evening ritual on nights when I’m feeling a little extra stressed.
- Tony’s Chocolonely – There is one consistent in every Thrive Market order I make and it is a fun treat. I love testing out new desserts and chocolates, whether it’s UnReal chocolates or these Tony’s Chocolonely bars. I rarely order the same thing twice because there’s always a new treat to try.
- Diet-Specific Items – One feature I find myself going back to time and time again is the shop by diet tab. As someone who has been a vegetarian, pescatarian, low FODMAP, and/or lactose-free over the past eight years, being able to find foods that fit my dietary needs without worrying about looking too hard at the label makes shopping so much easier.
